About this site
This site is about brain basics and interesting facts, with emphasis on energy needs, supplies, deficits — and consequences of all of these. It’s intended to make experimental results user-friendlier and connect them to other facts, which hopefully will create a bigger picture of how the brain and neurons work and why it is important to know.
On a lighter note, there’s also the Ageless Brain site, more practical one, containing more of a know-how information on diseases and their prevention, for example, some of the popular posts there are:
- Walking away from dementia
- Caffeine protect against neurodegeneration in Alzheimer’s disease
- Coffee, tea, and chocolate can help to avoid Parkinson’s disease
- Metabolic syndrome and mental health
- Wrong foods for ADHD
